Jennifer+Matthieu, UCLA : Engagement

This session took place at UCLA because this is where this tall handsome French guy met a gorgeous and intelligent American girl. Though they both deny that it wasn’t love at first sight, I am convinced that they pretty much knew that their story will turn out this way. Mattieu proposed at the Laguna Beach so we added little bit of beach scene to their session. Jennifer and Matthieu was both very creative and willing to do anything for the shot! My kind of couple! So here are very few of my favorite of the day. Thank you Jen and Matt , AK and I both had wonderful time photographing you two, we can’t wait to see you again in July.

This very first shot was taken by AK who has been coming to 2nd shoot for me. AK even took basic photography classes with me while I was in school and has been shooting with me for now past 6years! I really have to give him more credit on my blog because he manages to capture these precious moments. Thank you honey for being my biggest supporter. XOXO

BLAIR, MODEL PROFILE : ANY TIME

Last week of May when the California weather was still normal and beautiful. I had this amazing shoot with Blair. When I saw Blair’s photo for the first time, I was thrilled. I will be honest. I have a big crush on red heads. You should see me with the kids with red curly hair with a freckled face, I go crazy with my camera. I just think that they look gorgeous. It might be because of the book I read as a child it’s called ”Anne of Green Gables” by Lucy Maud Montgomery or because of the the Pippi Longstocking. Well, I am a Korean so I have to say I thought red hair story was all made up. For many artists, the model becomes their muse. So you can only imagine what was going through in my head, I was already planning what to do with Blair on our next shoot!

Blair just graduated from USC and she wants to try modeling as her career. We needed to test her ability infront of my camera. Blair rocked in front of the camera and the camera loved her. Blair told me that someone told her she could be exotic: (Here is Webster definition) “strikingly, excitingly, or mysteriously different or unusual”, but she didn’t understand if she really had it. So I decided to show Blair what she has. I will leave you readers to decide how Blair looks on these photos. Blair thank you for coming to the shoot with your awesome personality and the charming attitude. I have no doubt that you will become a top model that the photographers would love to work with. I can’t wait to work with you again. And my big thank you goes to Surjaya Cruz a very talented makeup artist who enhanced Blair’s beautiful face. I will write more about Surjara on my next posting. These photos have no retouching some contrast added that’s all.
