2. Do you take deposits to hold the date?

Yes we ask for none refundable deposit to reserve your date.   You may pay online via paypal or you can write me me check to secure your session

3. How long does it take for me to see my images?

: In this digital age, everyone expects instant result. Don’t get me wrong. I totally love the fast results but I won’t be able to  introduce myself  as a “professional photographer” if I just transfer my images from camera to DVD and let you walk away.  They are often good enough to view online but not suitable for printed products.

Portrait Clients: You will be invited back  to our studio for preview/order session 2weeks after your portrait session.

Our clients really enjoy projection preview because they can really enjoy looking at life size images of their loved ones without any interruption.

Weddings/Event Clients: You can view all of your images through your private online gallery after 6~8 weeks from the event.

4. Are you the one who is going to take our pictures?

Yes,  Ambient Photography Studio is a boutique style studio. I am a owner and  a photographer.  I photograph large events with my husband Andy. He is second lead photographer at Ambient Photography Studio.

We are a husband and wife team and it works really well.  To prove that we that we are celebrating our 10th year anniversary this year!

5. Can you describe your style?

My style is simple, spirited and elegant.  I take photo-journalistic approach  mixed with Lifestyle editorial. I believe photography has to be  honest and beautiful whenever you look at them.

6.  What kind of camera do you use?

I am a Canon girl.  I am a current member of Canon Professional Service.

Whenever I get this question, I just smile.  I get this question very often both from photographers and clients.

To me it really shouldn’t matter what kind of medium I use to crate your images, I should be able to deliver great images if I am a qualified professional.

I try to stay on top of current in this fast changing photography world by attending annual photography convention and educational seminars.

However I believe that as a photographer we owe it to our clients to keep our photography equipment up to date in this digital age.  Photography is both art and technology.

7.  Do you only do outdoor/natural light sessions?

No,  We do many studio sessions as well. But I have to confess I really do love outdoor natural light portraits. Often beautiful location puts people at ease.I have a photography degree in  Commercial photography.  It required many hours of measuring lighting ratio in the dark studio. I like the fact that I know that I have control over all sorts of lighting because that means I am able to create the kind of lighting that I need anywhere. I also love the dramatic mood that I can create adding artificial lights.
